Pack 200 was selected as the Northeast District 2018, 2019, and 2021 Pack of the Year! We are located in northeast Indianapolis as part of the Northeast District of Crossroads of America Council of Boy Scouts of America. We meet on Tuesday evenings 6:30 - 7:30 pm at Holt Community House, 6235 N Olney St, Indianapolis, IN 46220, located in the north parking lot behind the Glendale Branch of Indianapolis Public Library.
With the township doing another e-learning day, we have made the tough decision to cancel the meeting tomorrow the 27th and push the Pinewood Derby to next week, February 3rd.
With the impending storm and the governor activating the guard, we believe it is best to cancel the weigh-in today. Your safety is foremost in our minds. Please stay warm and safe.
With that being said, we will do the weigh-in on Tuesday, the 27th, from 5-6 pm. This will be about 3 hours of work, but it needs to be done within 1 hour. Here is a rough outline of how the evening will work. If you or a family member can help out, please do. We will need a lot of help to get this running as smoothly as possible.
4:30 pm Pick-up track from the Holt House and bring it to Epworth(we have 3 people helping load, but could use 2 more)
4:45 pm Setup tables. We will need a handful of adults to do this.
5:00-6:00 pm Check-in. We will need everyone to arrive with enough time to put the final touches on their cars and to do the final check-in/weigh-in.
5:30-6:30 pm Chow down on some pizza and enjoy entertainment while we finalize and verify the track setup.
6:30-7:30 pm Run the races and give awards.
After we close the meeting, we will need help breaking down the track and cleaning up the space.
Below are the den assignments that we will need to help run this as efficiently as possible with the truncated timeline.

I want to send a quick reminder that the Derby weigh-in is scheduled for this Sunday, January 25th, from 2-4 pm.
We are keeping an eye on the approaching storm. An announcement will be sent from the announce@pack200indy.com email list with confirmation of what we decided that morning. Please make sure this email is added to your safe contact list.
Personally, I hope that all the derby cars are so blazing fast that they melt all the snow!
Same as last week, tonight we will continue with our Pinewood Derby workshop. The bandsaw, drum sander and drill press will be available. We will have weigh-in and registration on Janurary 25th from 2pm-4pm at the Holt House.We will be at Epworth United Methodist Church, located at 6450 Allisonville Rd for the Pinewood Derby on Janurary 27th. We will need help setting the track up, so if we can have people there at 5:00 PM(please note the time change) to help setup the track, that would be greatly appericated.
